Once the concept plan and 3D renders are approved, we will move on to the final design. Here, we’ll provide you with a Master Plan that includes all of the necessary information related to your garden’s layout.
This plan contains crucial details such as measurements, materials and placement of features such as trees and outdoor furniture. This document can be used for budgeting purposes or for reference when creating the construction timeline.
It also serves as an essential tool for contractors who need to accurately build out your landscape design and provides them with a detailed plan, so they know exactly what needs to be done in order to bring your vision to life.
Detailed Technical Design
Where necessary we then prepare detailed construction drawings for any key and bespoke features of your garden – steps, walls, decks, pergolas or water features.
At this stage detailed lighting design is developed if requested as well as plans for irrigation systems.
For complicated garden or landscaping features we work with trusted external specialist companies.
Planting brings balance and beauty to the garden by creating visual interest with trees, lush shrubs, and colourful flowers. Initially we create and discuss plant choices that will form planting palette with you – the type of plants that we want to use, their form and colours.
We always suggest plants suitable for the site conditions to reduce potential costs and maintenance and ensure that the planting looks comfortable in the space.
Detailed planting plans, plant schedules and cost estimates are then prepared for approval. Details for soil preparation and suitable mulches will also be included to give the new plantings best chance to thrive.
As part of this design stage, we also prepare maintenance instructions – we use an app specifically designed for this purpose so that the information is always at your fingertips.
